The Dream - At 95% and 60% half of the raid will go into a dreaming state. You fight in this dream state and when you die, you come out of the dream state and all corruption is dropped. ---Have players in the dream state take corruption mechanics, since it will drop off when they come out of dream state.
Nightmare Corruption
- Dread Abomination - Corruption: Crushing Shadows
- Corruption: Unfathomable Reality
- Corruption: Descent into Madness
Stage One: The Decent into Madness
Darkening Soul - Can be dispelled, but dispeller takes 10 corruption --- Only players in dream state should dispel, Darkened Tainting
Nightmare Blades - De-buff on two players; when it expires, a wall of blades erupts from the ground, and travels in a line between the 2 de-buffed players, inflicting 734,505 Physical damage to anyone in the area and knocking them back. This damage ignores armor. --- Like Wrought Chaos. - position yourself so it doesn't hit any raid members.
Manifest Corruption - Corrupting Horror:
- Corrupting Nova (applies 5 corruption) ---Move the add away from the wave - send sleepy melee corruption, or any awake players with great mobility to dogde it.
- Tormenting Swipe (applies 10 corruption to anyone hit) --- Sleepy tank can pick this add up
Lurking Eruption - Spawns a Lurking Terror underneath a ranged player dealing high amount of damage to anyone within 6 yards and giving them 20 corruption. --- Stay spread out
- Lurking Terror- Tormenting Fixation & Tormenting Infection - Immune to damage and crowd control. Generate 20 corruption when it explodes on someone. ---Someone in dream state needs to soak this.
Stage Two: From the Shadows (66%) (Other half of raid will get put to sleep)
Blackening Soul - Blackened & Blackened Tainting (Pool underneath?) --- Tank swap at 3 stacks. Make sure the healers/tanks communicate so the dispels go off in collaboration with taunting. ((Have either sleepy raid member, or low corruption tank soak up the pool, (if it drops a pool?))
Corruption Meteor (40 corruption and split between all targets) --- 2 groups of players sleepy/awake. Sleepy group soak meteor.
Bonds of Terror- Chain 2 together and they take really high ticking until they break it - moving to 3 yrds of one another. Being in stack groups will help diffuse this quickly.
Nightmare Infusion - Sleepy tank try to take this.
Call of Nightmares - Inconceivable Horrors: Dark Ruination & Tainted Discharge (spawn on edge of room and move to him) --- Need to kill asap. Can be stunned. Sleepy people soak the pools left when they die.
Stage Three: World of Darkness -- 30% (No one should be sleepy anymore)
Blackening Soul - Blackened & Blackened Tainting
Nightmare Blades - Same as other phases.
Nightmare Infusion - Tanks will be getting more corruption, so be mindful.
Corruption Meteor - Same
Withering Deep - Nightmare Tentacles: Nightmare Bolt --- Ignore and burst boss, unless a large clump spawn within cleave range of each other? Will look into this more....

Good idea for DPS in dream to go 100% corruption, thus gaining huge damage increase. Assign specific dps to soak up corruption first.
Gap between ranged and melee to help deal with blades when on melee and ranged.
Range spread 6 yards.
Dream healers can cleanse 3 times, then on 4th will be sent back to awake.
Taunt on 3 stacks - but do it on 2 stacks for one of them, because of timers you wont be able to pick up add and drop stacks at the same time - causing boss to move around.
Need to push into phase 2 before a 2nd horror spawns - use hero if needed.
Move boss in middle of the room. Kill the inconceivable horror adds asap before they reach boss. Stunn/slow/knock back. Spawns pool, that will reform in 20 seconds, unless someone stands in pool. Have dream people soak these pools.
Move together for the tether.
Meteor - sleepy take these with Healing CD's, since some sleepy will be soaking adds.
Taunt on 6 stacks. Tanks don't soak the pool on the ground that you spawn. Dream state dps soaks it.
New dream state tank start taking the boss. Timers will eventually overlap, and non sleepy tank will get empowered hits of corruption. If dps isn't fast enough, may try a 3rd tank.
Phase 3 - 30%
Stacking under boss - take blades behind raid.
Tanks taunting on 6. Low corruption dispel. Dps with low corruption soak pool on the ground.
Ignore tentacles
For tanking in Xavius. Firstly - Dwarven you can't stone form on this fight - when you died you took the corruption for the dispel as well.
Anyway, Nelly set all that up and I was just looking over stuff now, after having a conversation with someone about our strategy.
Are the tanks taking turns tanking the boss in phase 1?
I think we should have the awake tank keeping the boss - having it taunted off to run out quickly for a dispel, then taunting it right back when he gets back in. We should be able to do this quick enough that the sleepy tank doesn't pick up a stack. This will leave the sleepy tank available to grab the add as soon as it comes up. Also, leaving the sleepy tank with out many stacks of the de-buff, (unless the waking tank didn't get back in time before next de-buff goes out). So then, this way, the horror will remain in melee stacked on the boss the whole time.
(Further notes- one de-buff will go out before sleeps, even if the sleepy tanks gets this de buff, he can just hang on to it the whole time. There is no rush to cleanse it. Assuming we get dispels off quickly and the waking tank can get back in to taunt the boss, the sleepy tank shouldn't get any more stacks, nor need to be dispelled the rest of the phase.)
On the 2nd and 3rd phases, you only run out a tiny bit outside of raid to get your dispel because there is no explosion (Unless you have stacks left over from the first phase, then you will have to run that first one out 25 yards). You drop a puddle, and its even better for you to be closer. So go just outside the group, like to the side, and a sleepy person can come soak it.
MYTHIC
Sleep beams@ (Assign 5 players)
97% -- 1 heal, 1 tank, 3 dps
80% -- 1 heal, 4 dps
60% -- 1 heal, 1 tank, 3 dps
45% -- 1 heal, 4 dps
--- Sleeping bodies on the floor will do burst damage to anyone that stands near it.
Lurking Corruptors - fixate person needs to kite to sleepy player for them to soak it. When it explodes on the player it comes in contact with, it will now also deal corruption to anyone standing near it.
Manifest Corruption - sleepy tank pick it up and tank it underneath the boss. Frontal cleave applies corruption so make sure the sleepy tank is the only one that will get hit by it. Same tank keeps it even when dropping stacks off the boss. (Melee don't follow)
Corruption Nova- Use a healing CD for each of these. (4 in total - 3 casts and the initial spawn)
NEED to get to P2 (66%) before 2nd spawns.
WHOLE goal in P1 is getting as little corruption as possible!!!

NOTE: If you have to go to assigned sleepy beam and get bonds, other player will need to run to you and heals have to heal you - cant miss the beam.
