Nythendra
Stage One: (90 seconds)
Infested Breath - Targets non-tank player. ---Raid stack close in melee range, move out quickly, stack close to new patches to control patch area.
Infested Ground- Left on the ground after a Breath, Rot, and Volatile Rot.
Rot --- Run out behind the raid (Keeping in same line with the boss, never in front of where raid will move for breath) until de-buff falls off. Note: You will have farther to run to get out of breath. (Starts out targeting 2 players, and eventually targets 3, then 4, the longer the fight cycles through these 2 phases)
Volatile Rot - On Tanks; Tank Swap (Like Artillery on Reaver) --- Move as far away from the raid as possible, ideally behind a place that already has goo puddles.
***Heroic: Infested - Anytime you take damage, from anything but tail swipe (Breath, puddles, Rot, etc), this will stack up. Will only be removed after she completes Heart of the Storm (at the end of phase 2).
***Mythic: Infested Mind - If you get 10 stacks of Infested, you will be come Mind Controlled and begin casting; Spread Infestation. ---- Imperative people learn how to avoid damage on this encounter.
*** Do not stand in the back - tail swipe will own you.---mythic
Stage Two: (20 seconds)
Heart of the Swarm - She sucks in all the pools and spawns bugs (cannot be killed) that explode. -- Avoid all the moving pools, and exploding bugs. These will add to your Infested Stacks as well.
Cool Downs:
Heroism: TBD
AoE movements for escaping moving pools/bugs, or misplaced breath.
Lock portals for helping movement.
Healing: Most likely Phase 2 when all the stacks are the highest and things are exploding. Emergency CD closer to the end of the fight if there are a lot of people with Rot at the same time a breath comes out.
- Rallying Cry for Breath/Rot when at the same time.
- Phase 2: Set up CD order

I found this video to be helpful:

I think we need to emphasize spreading out because rot starts ticking 8 yard AOE immediately when you get the debuff. For this reason, we should consider spreading around the boss and using DBM radar of 8 yards. There is no cleave or tail lash.
We could have two markers: one area for tanks to drop Volatile Rot, and another area that should remain clear (behind tail of boss). The boss should be centered in the room and never move. The clear area would be for phase 2. This is basically what the video suggests.
Serret
Thanks for sharing, Serret.
I do agree about making sure people are more spread before the rot de buff goes out, and I have this on my notes already for next raid's set up.
We actually had more deaths in phase 2 than from Rot in phase 1. (Over all 6 attempts, 31 deaths to Rot, vs 57 to infested ground, & 29 to bugs). In this specific video, I don't feel like they did a better job of positioning the rot puddles for phase 2 than we did - it actually looked like there was much less room to avoid puddles, and dodge bugs.
Another issue we had, was people getting hit with the breath, which caused puddles to drop in melee, which is the only reason we would have needed to move the boss at all. No one should be getting hit with breath.
Over the weekend and on Monday I will be watching more videos, and meeting with Nelly and Inxert to discuss positioning and tweaks to be made for next Tuesday's raid.
The plan is to make the raid a little smaller, 22-25 people instead of 30 - (which means people will have to rotate out.) Have people spread out better from the front-ish to the back of the boss, on one side, only, and continue to pile rot pools on one side of the room for dps, and the opposite side for tanks. Ensuring that people don't get hit by breath, we shouldn't have to move the boss at all. CD's will be set up for each breath, as it coincides with rot, and I will plan to have a Aura mastery go out near the end of Phase 2 when Infested stacks are highest.
There is still more to be discussed, and additional suggestions are always welcome here, prior to raid :)
Mythic - Video regarding tank perspective.
See if one tank can take all the rots. Reserve healing cd's for if tank is Mc'd and another rot goes out.
Set up 2-3 stun rotation, and 2-3 on back up incase one of them is MC'd.
Another Video .. Ilike her voice :P.
Seems in a lot of videos they are stacking on both sides...

Tweaks for this fight;
1. No more stuns on MC'd. USe Aoe Interupts (druids),a nd if Serret and Inx are both getting MC'd, Serret will call for someone else's stun, and/or melee can individually interrupt as needed. If any person is not in the clump, please call out "So-and-So is Loose".
2. All hunters need to be specced barrage for the MC'd people.
3. Brez's will be reserved for Tanks and Heals. Just rez them if they are down.
Remember -
1. 7 stacks of Infested or more for very first breath, push stacks for first breath MC.
2. Push top 6-7 people for MC on 2nd breath. This needs to be called before/by the 10 second warning breath timer, so we have time to get stacks.
3. Move out of the way for people to drop their rot in clumped areas.
4. Forget your dps - avoid bugs for Phase 2.
